Is Matt Tifft Still Racing? An Update On His Career

Matt Tifft is still racing, but not full-time. He currently competes part-time in the Super Late Models, driving the No. 36 Chevrolet SS for Dan Fredrickson Racing. This means he races in select events, but doesn’t participate in every race of the season.

Tifft had a successful career in NASCAR, starting in the Camping World Truck Series before moving up to the Xfinity Series. He even competed in a few races in the Cup Series. He was known for his talent and for being a very competitive driver. However, in 2019, he had to step away from racing due to health issues. Tifft was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and while he successfully underwent surgery and treatment, he was unable to return to full-time racing.

Despite this setback, Tifft has returned to the track in a limited capacity. He clearly still has a passion for racing and is able to enjoy the sport again while balancing his health and other commitments. His part-time involvement in Super Late Models allows him to still compete at a high level, but on his own terms, which is inspiring for anyone who has ever faced a major life challenge.
